Display1280×720 ✓1920×1080 or 2560×1440

The game renders a 1920×1080 canvas by default at 60 fps, with options up to 2560×1440 and 4K and up to 240 fps or uncapped. Every quality toggle has a proven effect: on the 3D casino floor, low more than doubles the frame rate of high with soft shadows. The demo contains no 3D areas at all, so it runs comfortably below the minimum above. Memory held between 120 and 222 MB across every preset tested.

The game in one line

A piece-collecting chess RPG where every catch is a checkmate you find yourself.

The game in three lines

Walk the storybook continent of Casteria. Recruit 272 wild chess pieces by solving real, verified checkmates. Beat six Chess Clubs, then take eight rounds at the World Championship — against a rival who has been one step ahead of you the whole way.

The numbers

  • 272collectible pieces
  • 5,890verified mate puzzles
  • 589chessboards (588 collectible)
  • 202chess lessons
  • 9towns
  • 6Sigils
  • 8championship rounds
  • 76original music tracks

Every claim the game makes, it can prove. The engine is a real one (Stockfish 18, shipped unmodified). Every catch puzzle was checked by machine as a forced mate in exactly the depth it claims. Every shop shelf says what an item does and when it is worth buying, before you pay. The casino posts its house edge before you bet. Every wrong lesson answer explains itself. Being straight with the player is the design, not the marketing.

Screenshots

Six gameplay screenshots from the current build (1920×1080) — the catch, a town, a battle, a lesson, the collection, and a gambit board standing in a meadow. More angles are available on request.

The trailers

Two cuts, both 1080p with the game’s own soundtrack. The Catch answers what you do: a wild piece sets a checkmate puzzle, you solve it, it joins you. The World walks the continent — nine towns, the lessons, the boards, the six Sigils.

For creators

Higher-resolution captures and specific angles are available on request — ask on X or by email.

Art
